Yellowstone Lake State Park 5/52
Yellowstone Lake State Park offers numerous hikes, each less than three miles long, through quiet and tranquil paths, shaded by hardwood canopies. There are no destination hikes here; no waterfalls, bluffs, or lazy river views. What Yellowstone Lake does offer is solitude. On a pleasant Saturday morning, we encountered no other hikers or fishers on our trip. In fact, the closest we came to another person was our stop at the ranger station for bathrooms. If you are seeking a quiet stroll in the woods with few to no other hikers, Yellowstone is your place.

I grew up in the woods. Coming home after school I would throw my book bag in the door and take off outdoors. Years later, this passion has returned. Experiencing the outdoors is like returning home.
